Stone Bird
Last updated October 27, 2026
Stone Bird includes options to make controls, combat visuals and audio more comfortable. Adjust the experience to suit your needs.
Controls and gameplay
Under Settings → Flying Aids, you can enable:
- Auto-Fire: Your aircraft’s guns fire automatically during flight, reducing the need to hold a firing control.
- Left-Handed Controls: On iPhone and iPad, weapon, Storm Discharge and Rainmaker buttons move to the right side so you can steer with your left hand.
- Combat Outlines: Adds visible rings around enemy shots and gold, health and shield pickups to help them stand out.
Motion and visual effects
Enable Less Shake and Flash under Settings → Flying Aids to reduce screen shake and the intensity of flashes. This option starts enabled when your device’s Reduce Motion setting is on, unless you have previously chosen a different setting in the game.
Several menus and story scenes also reduce animation when Reduce Motion is enabled.
These options reduce effects; they do not eliminate all movement or flashing. Flight, scrolling scenery, projectiles and combat effects remain part of the game.
Dialogue and sound
Radio messages and story films display dialogue as text, allowing you to follow conversations without hearing the voices.
Under Settings → Sound, you can adjust music, sound effects and weather volume separately. A separate radio voice volume control is available when voice recordings are included.
Dialogue subtitles do not currently provide a complete description of every sound effect.
Current limitations
Stone Bird is a fast-moving aerial action game. Core gameplay requires visually tracking your aircraft, enemies and incoming projectiles.
Some menus include accessibility labels and hints, but full gameplay support for VoiceOver and Voice Control has not been verified. We also have not verified app-wide support for larger text or audio descriptions.
